Patience is a virtue, and I would like to express my gratitude to all the people who believed in me and gave me the emotional support I needed to graduate from Southern Nazarene University’s Doctor of Education in Administration and Leadership program last Saturday, December 2nd, at 2 PM. Reflecting on my rigorous academic endeavor, I give God the glory and realize that he has given me a feeling I will cherish for the rest of my life. What made this graduation ceremony extra special for me was my father was asked to give the benediction at SNU’s one hundred twenty-first commencement ceremony.
My family and cousins flew from California to share and celebrate my moment. As a recent graduate, I could not ask for a better Christmas gift than being surrounded by people I love and admire. I will keep pushing forward, and my life story has just begun. I cannot be satisfied with yesterday’s results, and I have an opportunity to grow each day. I will continue to be a man of God who is intentional about how I live my life and be an unapologetic Christian. I hope everyone has a great week, and always remember, “The Galaxy is the Limit!”
Best Regards,
Dr. Nathaniel Goodwin
